Ballarat based clubs have been allocated Lanes and are responsible for rostering their own timekeepers throughout the Meet.  All OTHER clubs have been allocated Lane 1 and 2 for timekeeping.  Please can members of OTHER clubs sign up for their timekeeping duties here.  A roster will be finalised and distributed via email. If you haven’t done time keeping before\, all that you have to do is press a button when the swimmer in your lane touches the wall (the start is automatic). Very easy-nothing to be scared of and you have a great view of the Finish! \n\n\n\nProvisional Timeline \n\n\n\nEntry List (updated 28/05/2025)  \n\n\n\nLate entries close 6pm Monday 26th May.  Late entries cost $20/event. \n\n\n\nBy entering this event\, all nominees agree to adhere to the ‘Conditions of Entry’ listed below. Entries will close early if Meet capacity is reached prior to published closing date. \n\n\n\nConditions of Entry\n\n\n\nEntries:       \n\n\n\n\nMeet open to SAL registered swimmers only. \n\n\n\nAge of competitors is as at date of meet.\n\n\n\nONLINE entries via Swim Central.\n\n\n\n$15 per event (includes Swimming Victoria levy)\n\n\n\nClosing date Sunday 25th May at 6pm.\n\n\n\nThe Meet Director reserves the right to cancel/ merge events or alter the program as required.\n\n\n\nBallarat Gold Swimming Club reserves the right to close online entries early to accommodate time constraints.\n\n\n\n*400m Events 1 and 2 maybe combined. Limit of 3 combined heats\, open to the first 24 swimmers to enter.  Only enter EITHER Event 1 OR Event 2\, DO NOT enter both.\n\n\n\n\n  \n\n\n\nMeet:   \n\n\n\n\nMeet to be conducted under the rules of Swimming Australia and Swimming Victoria.\n\n\n\nOne start rule applies.\n\n\n\nThe SV 11 & Under swim suit rule will apply to this meet.\n\n\n\nBackstroke ledges will be available for use at this Meet.\n\n\n\nThe Referees decisions will be final.\n\n\n\nAll events are timed finals with points awarded to the top 8 swimmers in the following age categories: 9 & U\, 10/11\, 12/13\, 14/15\, 16/17 and 18 & O for both male and female swimmers. Medals for 1st\, 2nd & 3rd aggregate in each age group presented at the conclusion of the meet.\n\n\n\nRibbons for individual Events.\n\n\n\n\n  \n\n\n\nRelays:              \n\n\n\n\nMixed relay – minimum 1 girl/team.\n\n\n\nRelay entry via Swim Central.
