How to become a member
To register as a member of Ballarat Gold you will need too:
- Make an enquiry through our memberships officer
Contact our memberships officer by emailing membership@ballaratgold.org.au to organise a swim trial. - Fill out our registration form
Complete a club registration from and return it via email to our club memberships officer at membership@ballaratgold.org.au - Register with Swimming Victoria
Sign up to swim central and complete the Swimming Victoria registration. - Join a training squad.
Dive in with one of our squads.

I have a swimmer interested in joining Ballarat Gold who do I contact?
Our membership officer is ready to answer your questions and assist with any queries. Simply us an email at membership@ballaratgold.org.au
Do you offer different training levels?
Yes, we currently have five training squads designed for beginners, intermediate competitors or high performance training groups. All swimmers are placed in a squad suited to their ability and age.
How are your fees calculated?
Our fees are calculated on a termly basis and are dependant upon the assigned training squad(s). Fees are payable once every two weeks by Direct Debit.
Do you need to be registered with Swimming Victoria?
Yes, It is a requirement that all swimmers attending Ballarat Gold training sessions must also be a registered member with Swimming Victoria.
Where do you train?
Ballarat Gold train between the Ballarat Lifestyle and Aquatic Centre and the Ballarat Grammar Pool.
What if my child currently swims with Mark Stahl Swim School?
Ballarat Gold and Mark Stahl Swim School share a strong connection through the Head Coach. Please contact our Memberships Officer at membership@ballaratgold.org.au for more information about joining from the Mark Stahl Swim School.
