The club operates in accordance with the rules, regulations and governance frameworks set by Swimming Victoria and Swimming Australia.
The committee works in collaboration with the coaching team to ensure the club operates in accordance with relevant policies, codes of conduct and governing body requirements, while supporting the ongoing development of athletes and the club community.
Member Administration
Ballarat Gold Swimming Club uses Swim Central, the official membership and competition management system administered by Swimming Australia.
Swim Central is used for:
- Membership registration and renewals
- Competition entries
- Access to official results and swimmer records
- Managing personal member details
All competitive swimmers are required to hold a current Swim Central membership in order to train and compete.
Swim Central is managed externally by Swimming Australia. For assistance with club-related membership queries, please contact the Ballarat Gold committee.
Club Communications
Ballarat Gold Swimming Club uses the Team App as its primary communication platform for members and families.
The Team App is used for day-to-day club communication, including training updates, meet information, event reminders and volunteer notices.
Swim Central is used separately for official membership management, competition entries and swimmer records.
