Committee & Governance

Details of the Ballarat Gold Swimming Club committee, governance structure, and important club documents.

Club Governance

Ballarat Gold Swimming Club operates as a volunteer-run sporting organisation, supported by an elected committee responsible for the governance, administration and strategic direction of the club.

The club operates in accordance with the rules, regulations and governance frameworks set by Swimming Victoria and Swimming Australia.

The committee works in collaboration with the coaching team to ensure the club operates in accordance with relevant policies, codes of conduct and governing body requirements, while supporting the ongoing development of athletes and the club community.

Member Administration

Ballarat Gold Swimming Club uses Swim Central, the official membership and competition management system administered by Swimming Australia.

Swim Central is used for:

  • Membership registration and renewals
  • Competition entries
  • Access to official results and swimmer records
  • Managing personal member details

All competitive swimmers are required to hold a current Swim Central membership in order to train and compete.

Swim Central is managed externally by Swimming Australia. For assistance with club-related membership queries, please contact the Ballarat Gold committee.
